Verdict just got announced. Johannes Mehserle (former BART police officer) found guilty of misdemeanor involuntary manslaughter in the shooting of 22-year-old Oscar Grant. At the time of the shooting, Grant was detained, unarmed and face-down after an New Years Eve incident on an Oakland BART train.

Oh my. There does seem to be something disturbing about this picture.
