One party is overtly religious, of a particular bent, fascist, intent on taking away the religious, speech, and voting rights of those who donโt agree with their particular interpretations of faith.
That seems like unifying factors to me. There is a reason the majority of โnonesโ and nearly every atheist and agnostic votes for the Democratic Party. They donโt want to kill us.
Is the unifying factor to vote Democrat that the religious nuts are with the Republicans, or as a reaction to the Republican policies regarding vaccinations, voting rights, right to protest, etc. etc.? The overt religiousness is an identifying factor, but is that alone triggering opposition rather than the symptoms of that?
