Great. My IRS e-file rejection was because one of my dependents’ SSN appears on another filing. One son says he indicated he’s my dependent on his return. If it’s not the other one, then it means someone used one of their SSNs to file fraudulently. What a mess. It all could have been avoided if I had filed early. Goddamnit. I get myself into so much trouble sometimes due to procrastination.
