One statistic at a time. This can be a very emotionally charged debate, even in this narrow framework, and only by focusing on the numbers do i have a chance of keeping iceweasel and others as friends here. I think it’s a narrow but interesting point…and one that i will sacrifice if it becomes too difficult to debate with caution.
Didn’t intend for that to be an emotionally charged statement. I fully agree that the odds of a women dying during child birth are extremely low. But complications in general aren’t extremely rare, and they certainly vary in seriousness. Having a baby is an extremely physically and mentally demanding thing. Still friends?
