Predictions for 2012:

Obama wins in a slim majority [50.5% to 48.0%] … with no significant 3rd party character in evidence.

The GOP keeps the House and the Dems keep the Senate [majority-wise].

Obama drops Biden for Hillary for VP some time around the Dem convention.

The 1st half of the Hobbit film makes enormous amounts of money but is not better then any of the Lord of the Rings films [based on a consensus of critics].

The Dark Knight Rising is universally panned as the worst of the ones that Nolan has helmed but Tom Hardy gets nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor [and this finally launches him into a leading role category of actors].

I will not make enough of an arse of myself on this board to be banished again [btw, my sincerest apologies for that other time].
