Last night when I saw his outfit, I couldn’t help thinking, “Does this tux make my ass look big” because, well, it did.

He’s a big man, with a big middle, so I get that getting his suits to fit right might be a problem. My guess is he probably has only one white tie outfit, and he’s put on some weight since he last put it on. And he had no time to get it altered or to shop for a new one. OTOH, a rich magnate like Trump should have a staffer on call to order one up for the NYC gala. That would require planning and foresight, neither of which seem to be Trump’s style.
