Boston it was. A great drink, if a little rough on the nervous system after the second one. Still, quite nice. Bar-keep wrote it down, since it was a little something I’d made up at home once from desperation, and he agreed it had a really nice, “old-time” flavor to it. Being somewhat husky myself, he affixed a suitably insulting name to the drink, and it became, briefly, THE thing to try.
