Chrysler ended up being bought by Fiat.

GM is now new GM. Old GM still owns all the liabilities.

GM is trying to sell off remaining product lines like Saturn (tried to sell to Penske but deal fell through so Saturn will disappear). So too will Pontiac and several other brands including Hummer. What will be left is Buick, Caddy, GMC, and Chevy.

and Mercury is a gonner…probably a good move
