Yes, there are a lot of guns. Require registration and transfer of ownership, like cars. Make it a crime to not have one registered, and make it an additional felony if an unregistered gun is used to commit a crime.

Nope, that’s like saying, with out gas, a car isn’t a car. Just because you don’t have the fuel, doesn’t change the nature of the beast. As for registration, I own a 84 Dodge van. Registration has been expired since at least 2004. Perhaps you meant title?
