I hate to be the materialistic bum here, but think the passengers on that US Airlines flight is gonna get a refund?

This is an interesting question.

As a matter of customer service, these customers will get whatever they want.

However, if the cause of the accident is indded the geese, then that’s an act of god. I’m not a lawyers, but it seems to me that the airline is not legally obligated to provide a refund. But they should book them on the next flight to Charlotte.
