If you know how many liters your tank holds, you’ll know far you can go on one tankful. Divide tank capacity by liter/100km figure, multiply by 100 km.

If a Smart car uses 5 liters/100km, and it has a 35 liter tank, it can go about 700 km on one tankful. (700 km = 437 miles)
