Not exactly. Perhaps a “system of non-belief”? But even that is too simplistic.

The atheist does not believe in the Tooth Fairy, nor Santa Claus. The atheist does not believe in Zeus, nor Sekhmet. Not Baphomet, nor Beelzebub.

The atheist believes in no religious entities. Thus the distinction between “theism” and “atheism”.

Atheism, by definition, is not a religion. It is not a form of faith.
