We pay more into the UN than all those countries put together, and for that we get organization that is often unresponsive or even hostile towards us. That needs to stop. So changes were demanded of the UN, which the UN refused to make. So now the UN is to be punished.

Bullshit, we are approx. 1.4 BILLION behind in dues. One of those deadbeat nations that want the UN to help our “peace keeping” missions, but don’t want to pay.
