They’re totally ignorant of how family orientated Hispanics are too. And in my experiences, Hispanics tend to practice real family values as opposed to empty expressions of it like non-Hispaic white Evangelicals do.

Much like Jewish voters, the GOP can’t comprehend that being family-oriented and community-oriented means something beyond just “They don’t like gays or abortion.” Most minority communities support family and community-oriented programs that wingnuts interpret as “SOCIALISM!!!” because they believe in supporting each other rather than hoarding what you have while expecting somebody else (i.e. charities) to pick up the slack.
