I know that there are no do-overs in life, but 12 years ago I had a nice job that I loved, it just didn’t pay very much, and recruiters were offering all kinds of big bucks for the big Y2K. So I quit the modest-paying job I loved to make some big bucks, then Y2K was over, then dot-com went bust, and then the recession, and I said G-D how stupid I was to leave my nice little job.

Well, now I have a nice job offer that is very similar to the job I left, only now with more HINDSIGHT and no more kids in college!
