The thing is, I think both Hoft and Johnson know there’s no downside to bullshitting their audience. If they’re caught in a lie, they just claim the debunking is a lie - see today’s tweets about the juvie record revelations. Their job is not to inform, but to inflame, and as long as they provide support for RW beliefs, they’ll have jobs.

They have no real accountability let alone real careers. They sit in their little corner of the universe, peddling hate, lies, and idiocy and societies’ lowest common denominator gladly consume their product. They are today’s elixir salesmen.
