I didn’t have the flexibility to kick my opponents in the head, LOL. If you were on the receiving end of a kick from me, it was most likely a mule kick in the chest/abdomen, at which I was quite adept. Otherwise, I used kicks to make space to throw my unexpectedly fast left hand.

Funny you say that, as I had exactly that going for me back in the day. Except my surprise was my right. High kicks lived mostly in styles other than ours.
