It’s purely a stalling move. Surely Roberts doesn’t want to go down as the Chief Justice who made Presidents divine deities, they won’t go down that road… until after the 2024 election.

If 2024 turns into a violent shit show because Roberts was afraid of acting too quickly he will go down as the most pathetic chief justice in history.
