People will jump into supporting a lot of things/people without knowing all the lurking facts about them… look at Ron Paul supporters.
Tell them that he had racist running in the background and they would say ’ no way ‘.

If he’s promoting a book, it’s assumed he’s read it. I wouldn’t necessarily expect all Beck supporters to have read it, but I would assume he did.
