On the last thread, you mentioned possibly purchasing a Kindle for your wife… do you or her have a Iphone or Ipod Touch… because for over all functionality, I wonder if a Ipad would cover all the possible bases… it makes a great reader plus hundreds of other features available?

There is something neat about the ease on the eyes of the e-ink tech. I am totally convinced after spending an hour with one thata Kindle (or clone) is the way to go if your primary use case is just reading books.

Plus the battery life benefits are nice too. It only uses power when redrawing the screen.

(Not that Ipads aren’t also very cool, just throwing in my 2 cents)
