Well, yes. But I prefer the simplicity of just calling them bigots. It’s what they are.

I always knew that the first non-white POTUS would unhinge a group of people in this country, but I never expected the right wing freakout we’ve seen. The lack of self-awareness in these people is staggering.

And now, more than ever, I expect the national GOP platform to go full birther. They’re the ones who are going to be writing it, after all.
