From Ebert’s essay:

The use of in vitro fertilization has grown more popular, as evidenced by the fact that three of Romney’s grandchildren were conceived in that way.

I wonder whether that’s why Romney wouldn’t sign the Personhood Pledge? He gave a verbal OK of the concept, but never signed the pledge.
