Yeah—I’ve been waiting for useable LED—until recently, the output just hasn’t been there. My kid gave me a pocket-size LED flashlight for Christmas. Its single LED, running off one AAA cell, is spectacularly brighter than those of a couple years ago.

I made a 4 foot star and filled it with LED Christmas tree lights. It looked pretty awesome from the road.
