GOP homophobia/anti-civil rights on display: Florida anti-gay bill would let doctors & hospices refuse to serve gays

I’m still flabbergasted by this. I mean I get that some fringy nut-burgers would think that that was reasonable but for lawmakers to indulge such dangerous policy initiatives is outlandish.

What would be their policy justification? That gays are sinners (in their view, not mine)? Well so are rapists and murderers but we don’t deny them healthcare. How can they think that gays are worse sinners than murderers? Not murdering is one of the ten commandments so it has to be a more serious an infraction than eating shrimp, mixing fibers or being gay.

Obviously, being gay is not worse than being a rapist or murderer. What pisses conservatives off is that they used to be able to discriminate against gays in all sorts of ways and now they feel robbed of their petty sport.
