The market would have stabilized and the census would have created jobs with nearly any of the candidates in charge (Kucinich…eh…)

“the president is stabilizing the market” is as far-fetched as “the president is initiating socialism”.

The economic policy that the President sets forth is pretty influential. I would say that the recovery act helped a lot.
