The High Kings are a very successful attempt to re-create the boys. There’s a video in which they don the original knit jumpers, provided by the Clancy grandmother.

I will have to check out the High Kings. And I appreciate the context that you added about them.

Last month there was a discussion on “The Parting Glass” sparked by by the passing of AnyMouse’s Sister-in-Law.

(My condolences, AnyMouse. She sounds like she was a true character. And fit right in with your family.)

Anyway, I did a YouTube search and listened to their version. (I particularly like Peter Hollins version at the moment.)
