The problem with conservatism is that Freedom and Liberty are a tough sell.
You are basically on your own. No safety net.
“Elect me, and I’ll take away all that Free Stuff”
Contrast that with the Nanny State.

The other problem with Freedom and Liberty is that the minute you don’t go along with every single lame-ass, nitwit idea that the Liberals have, they call you a bigot and greedy, racist, etc. blah blah.

It takes courage to want to live free.
