Thing is, except for Lindsay Davis, I really can’t hardly stand anything that gets written about Rome.

Oh, and I liked the HBO show.

But basically, I don’t LIKE the Roman Empire very much.

I like the way they were portrayed in “Life of Brian.” A bunch of fun loving guys.
