Any deal made to impeach and remove Trump between the GOP and the DNC would no doubt include some sort of leash being put on Pence. It may be for show, it may even be an illusion, but the DNC leadership would insist that Pence be kept in line by his party to avoid a repeat.

And Bannon, Conway, et al, would all have to go.
