Sorry, this is emotional for me but I had friends in Blacksburg when Virginia Tech happened. I really think so often that gun humpers and I will continue to use that term because they see me as a fucking Nazi for daring to believe that things like background checks and the idea that certain arms should never be owned by civilians are guilty of having zero empathy at all towards victims of gun violence. Instead their response after a shooting is to agitate for more guns. We don’t need more guns. We need less.

It isn’t more guns they want. It’s more faith.

Possession of firearms is an expression of faith to these people. Faith in America. When everyone has guns everyone will be faithful and then evil will be defeated.

Yes, it’s nuts but it is what they believe.

The Puritans have a lot to answer for.
