Obama expected to end taboo on gays in US military

here we go again….

Good.
It’s time we hired (or retained) people based on their qualifications for the job, rather than their race, gender, or sexual orientation. (Isn’t that what conservative opposition to affirmative action is all about?) We have lost qualified personnel at a time when we sorely needed them. Other armed forces have not been hindered or rendered any less effective by equality in this area.
