It’s about someone do this. James and the FRC are no different from the people who told Mildred and Richard Loving that their marriage shouldn’t be allowed because the Bible blah blah.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the Circuit Court ruling on the case, but the judge who convicted them actually said the following when they filed a motion to vacate the conviction:

Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix.
