going along with the assumption that Israel has regained its deterrence factor (If the IDF stops now while having the upper hand thus far)

doesn’t seem to have stopped Hamas thus far (though it has GREATLY reduced the number of rockets).
And I’m concerned about the reports that Hamas has obtained significantly longer range rockets from Iran. Indeed, JPost,iirc, indicated that those missiles could reach Dimona.
I truly wish I had an answer - stopping the smuggling is MAYBE the most important thing Israel could do at this juncture.
