Coming late to the party, Thanos picked up on something with others elaborating as to the potential meaning, or perception behind such a logo.

I think a justifiable argument can be made for them not doing anything for the last 8 years & beyond, and this being Obama’s first year they now found some type of patriotic commemorative.

Moreover, my jaundice eye for them makes this suspect considering the follow up by Walter and others.

Memorial Day knows no political party. The headstones don’t vote.

I do question their meaning. They have been more than vocal in the past about such things, and to make an extra effort to make a peculiar reference on the backs of those who made the ultimate sacrifice is tasteless.
