To me, that’s an argument for said office to allow concealed carry. The answer to a loon with a gun is to confront them with armed force at the earliest opportunity.
The question is, and I think its at the heart of the case Rogue posted as well… Does an armed, mental disturbed person constitute a threat absent any other actions?
And assuming you’re CC, can you make the threat assessment to shoot-to-kill in that situation? Or do you need to wait to see if the person opens fire (potentially on you) first?
