This is difficult when so many religions use as their chief selling point that believers of any other religions or denominations are destined for eternal damnation.

That’s a big part of why I don’t have much use for religions. Now private faith is another story. Really, I’d be more happy if people just lived trying to do the right thing because ultimately we’re not on this earth long but we share it with so many others so we should try to make it an as good world as possible to leave for our descendants.
