Oh, yes — the inexplicable crash of a commuter plane on approach to the airport, at about 2,500 feet in altitude and with no indication of anything wrong with the plane and no indication from the cockpit that there was any trouble on board.

Is it paranoid to imagine that someone might have been waiting near the airport’s approach path with, say, a shoulder-fired antiaircraft rocket?
