To experienced Perry watchers, it is transparently obvious that his religiosity, crazy secession talk, fed hating, and general loon-pandering are diversions from the mind-bogglingly intricate network of connections he enjoys with corporate lobbyists, and his use of his office to advance those interests. Even when Perry does something sane you need to look at who is profiting from it and what their connection is with him and his network.
