My question is: If mainstream moderate to conservative Christians are made aware of this group of wackos and the full scope of their beliefs, will they support one of the Dominionist-approved candidates? Or will it put them off?

I would sure hope they’d be put off.

I doubt that more moderate Christians would want to see everything, from the government that they live under to their sources of entertainment, to be under strict Christian control.

A lot of Christians are okay with leaving the righteousness aside and watching some good, demon-possessed TV from time to time.
