Considering the last go-around about all this, I think we know where this is going. The GOP’s gonna pass this grab-bag of goodies for itself, then declare that it’s willing to “negotiate” with Obama. The appropriate response would be to tell Boehner to go soak his head and instruct the Senate to kill the bill dead.

Worst case scenario is Obama declares the debt limit unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment. Then the Republicans can sue seeking default as their remedy, that should go over well.
