Totally absent from public discussion is that both father and son Pauls belong to a wacky “doctors” group, not the AMA or other respected professional physicians organization. I wrote about that long ago when I did my Art Robinson exposé.

So yes, Rand Paul has an ophthalmology degree, but he’s hardly a physician I’d run to for advice.
