Not field hockey…HOCKEY… dang it.

Football is played primarily with the foot… not the hands. Hand ball is played primarily with the hands.

Those pads in Ice (the only) Hockey don’t do much when you’re smashed into the corners or open ice by a 6 ft +200 lbs Canuck skating at 20 to 30 mph or a frozen piece of vulcanized rubber flying at 70-90 mph unless you’re the goalie.
