re: #408 Charleston Chew

It’s interesting to me that both campaigns had HQs in very blue regions this year.

MA was always an odd choice for Romney. Maybe he thought New England still had fond memories of him as Gov. But, of course, that Romney has been dead for years now. And it was Romney who murdered him. I predict he won’t even get New Hampshire.

On the other hand, while the President will lose Indiana, I think his Mid-West street cred will help him hold on to Iowa.

Romney would have been smarter to move his HQ to a swing state. MA is where he was governor though, so he kind of had to use it as his home base…even though he’s losing in that home state by 25%. Michigan would be his second natural choice, but he’s losing there as well, so home state #2 is out of the question. Since Romney’s building a home in La Jolla, he could have tried using California - and this is where all the money is - but we’re barely able (inclusive as we are) to tolerate the idea of the fucker retiring here and our only consolation is that he bought in a very conservative pocket of the state and will be surrounded by other shallow rich assholes like himself.
