The wingnuts want the next Pope to call for an all-out Crusade against the Muslims, not reach out to them. And if the next Pope has family members who are of the Islamic persuasion, they’ll convince themselves that the Catholic Church is in cahoots with the Muslims to exterminate all evangelical Protestants (well, Bible-thumping evangelical Protestants).
