GGT, that piece is by David Sirota, a dudebro who’s in tight with Glenn Greenwald. Sirota hates Barack Obama and would gladly publish a story damning Rahm Emanuel in order to attack someone close to the president.

Given that obvious motivation and Sirota’s past problems with the truth, I consider that article unreliable unless corroborated by a trustworthy source.
