Prepare to eat your shorts. The porkfest will pass. They’ll make superficial changes, and one or two GOPers will go along with the Democrats, and so $1 trillion in wholly unrelated spending gets shoved down our throats in pursuit of “appearing to do something” about the recession. Tax cuts? Never really considered. Only massive new spending.
