Having grown-up in Detroit in the ‘70, I do understand the “other” side of racism. Somehow it is always justified.
I think that is why I have such a hard time with labels. I have to look at each person as an indivudual with a soul and can’t let the bigotry I grew-up with carry into my adulthood.
Thanks. That’s honestly one of the differences between us. While I do that for the people I actually get to know, when it comes to criminals I label deliberately, since I want to see them as a hostile mass and not as actual people.
