We do have 3 versions of laws by necessity. The one written and passed. Then we get the version in the police training. Then we get what happens on the street.

We may not yet understand what levels went wrong with this law, apart from quick assumptions of all of the above gone wrong. Might we think the intent of the stand your ground law was not abuse, it was for good guys in bad spots. Written badly.
