I, for one, just bought some shares in a gold ETF. I might as well take advantage of the current gold rage. May even put a few extra worthless dollars in my pocket.

I was thinking of doing the same, but I’m looking to short gold. The sudden upsurge in interest is suggesting a bubble that’s ready to burst. I haven’t quite convinced myself of this yet, but there’s little doubt that a lot of the price movement is speculative rather than fundamental.
