Yep. STID was a rehash of Wrath of Khan.

Except I don’t remember Khan’s crew being put into cryo and sealed in a bunch of missiles while Carol Marcus’s father tried to engineer a war with the Klingons in the original film. Or Kirk being brought back from the dead via a transfusion of Khan’s blood.
